What Clients Say
Sarah Lim
Damansara Utama, KL
We hired Atria Works for our 3-bedroom apartment in Damansara. What I appreciated most was that Zahra actually listened during the consultation rather than arriving with a pre-set idea. The final design felt like ours, not like something from a magazine.

The Construction Companionship service saved me from what would have been several expensive mistakes. Reza caught a tiling error early enough that it cost nothing to fix. If he hadn't been there, I'd have been looking at a full rejet in a week. Worth every ringgit.

I started with just the Courtyard Conversation, not sure I was ready to commit to a full project. That two-hour visit and the brief that followed completely changed how I understood the space. I ended up going ahead with the full design. No regrets.

What stood out was that Li Ching found us a local timber supplier whose material was both better quality and less expensive than the imported alternative we'd been quoted. That kind of practical knowledge is hard to find — and it more than covered the design fee on its own.

I was nervous about the renovation process — we'd heard so many stories about contractors going quiet mid-project. Having Reza as a consistent presence made the whole thing feel manageable. He kept us informed without overwhelming us with daily updates.

The 3D visualisations they produced were surprisingly accurate to the finished space. I'd worked with designers before where the final result looked little like the renders. Here there was very little distance between what we approved and what we got. That's not nothing.

From Problem to Finished Space
Case Study 01 · Kota Damansara Townhouse
The Challenge
A three-storey townhouse with excellent bones but a ground floor that felt disconnected from the small rear garden. The owners used the garden rarely and felt the main living area was too enclosed for the Malaysian climate.
Our Approach
We reorganised the ground floor circulation to draw sightlines toward the garden from the moment of entry. New full-height glazing replaced a solid rear wall. Material palette shifted to local stone and rattan to connect interior to exterior.
The Outcome
The garden became a daily-use space rather than a forgotten corner. The ground floor feels notably larger despite no structural changes. The family now entertains outdoors regularly — something they'd stopped doing entirely in the previous layout.
"It's a different house. I don't mean that lightly — the way we use it has completely changed."

Case Study 02 · Subang Jaya Condominium
The Challenge
A 1,200 sq ft condo purchased secondhand. The previous fit-out was functional but generic — ceiling lights in a grid, floating TV console, standard kitchen island. The owners wanted something with more spatial character without a full structural renovation.
Our Approach
We worked within the existing structure entirely. Layered lighting replaced the ceiling grid. Custom joinery created a focal wall behind the dining area. Material upgrades to soft furnishings and a refined material palette did most of the heavy lifting.
The Outcome
Project completed in six weeks with no structural work. Total construction cost stayed well below the initial budget estimate. The space reads as considerably more considered than its square footage and price point would suggest.
"I was doubtful that the result could be so different without touching the walls. The 3D renders convinced me to trust the process."
